Orchestrator is the biggest win. It brings together visibility, policy control, and monitoring in a way that feels unified rather than bolted together. Instead of juggling multiple tools or manually tuning site-by-site configs, everything flows from one place to another. That single-pane approach is what makes the platform feel powerful rather than overwhelming.
WAN acceleration function
We like the BIO for defining policies for applications, the WAN optimization boost to increase performance, we also like the integrated security of the built in NGFW.
As mentioned above, the basics are intuitive, but the deeper features like complex business intent overlays, advanced routing interactions and granular QoS tuning do require some significant time and hands on experience to master. The orchestrator UI is generally strong, but it can become sluggish when managing a larger number of sites, pulling long-range historical data and generating detailed reports. The built in reporting is helpful but limited, users want more flexible dashboards, deeper drill down options and easier export and integrations with 3 party monitoring tools.
orchestrator UI
When troubleshooting there are often too many different tabs to sort through that are not intuitive. We have encountered a few bugs with the appliances as well but these were resolved with firmware updates.
