It is a very good forecasting tool, it allows one to generate detailed forecasts and budgets which are quite easy to understand and present in meetings with finance teams. I also like the fact that one can work in excel but feed into the TM1 DB with PAfE i.e. Planning Analytics for Excel.

The AI and predictive features are not that advanced, if the product management teams could work on infusing more AI capabilities and try to steer away from being very dependent on Excel. Small sized companies are sometimes struggling with TCO though the tool is quite powerful.

Building and maintaining models often requires specialized technical expertise, which can make the initail implementation time consuming and resource intensive. For non techinical users, some advanced functions can feel less intuitive without proper training.
