Is rock solid stable, well documented and easy and easy to implement once initially trained. The time required to include new knowledge is minimum. The results are predictable and easy to correct whenever you find a deviation. This make Watson Discovery, I think, the most reliable SDU right now.
Comes from a well-known company, a mature product. Documentation is relatively good.
Easy to use. Create chatbots with natural language processing. And I like that it is useful for research and development work.
The administration of permissions for the different roles of the users is not always clear. Also the effort required to train large amount of information for the first time, may be cumbersome. On the bright side, the IBM team is always willing to help.
Not enough knowledge or experience with integrations (at least in Israel); integration isn't as easy as with other products. Some RTL language support isn't very good.
I had problems making diagnoses and with reports and document ingestion.

A highly impactful tool from IBM. Discovery helped us immensely to generate insights from data that were scattered across documents (PDF, doc etc). Earlier, we used to employ people to study these documents and generate the required insights. This was tedious and also less efficient. It was economically unviable too. With IBM Watson discovery, it simply detects the required keywords and easily generate insights based on the document content.
