“SharePoint Streamlines team collaboration with Easy Sharing and Robust Version Control”

5.0
Nov 26, 2025
SharePoint has honestly made working with the team feel way easier. Now that everything lives in one spot, I don't have to dig through emails to find right document or wonder if I've got the latest version. Sending out files is as simple as dropping someone a link and the built in version history has saved us more than a few times when someone accidentally overwrites something. It's just a smoother and more hassle-free way to handle project docs and reports. Setting up the right permissions is straight forward too. I like that I can make certain folders editable just for the QA team while sharing reports as read only for everyone else. And having all our company guidelines and policies there means I never have to chase down HR for details. Overall, SharePoint just helps us stay organized and keeps things moving, so we can actually focus on the real work instead of tracking down files.

“Centralized Storage and Strong Security Offset by Steep Learning Curve in SharePoint”

3.0
Dec 16, 2025
Sharepoint is great for having everything in one centralized storage space. It allows people in various areas of my organization to collaborate. However, I found it to be a bit of a steeper learning curve than I like and the user interface is a bit clunky.

SharePoint Likes & Dislikes

Like

The ability to share documents with a single link keeps everyone on the same page and cuts out the old hassle of email attachments. Having version history built in also brings peace of mind, since rolling back to a previous edit or fix is quick and simple.

Like

You can store multiple documents in one place and it works easily with MS Teams, One Drive, and Outlook. The security and data protection is also great, making me feel like my documents will be safe.

Like

Key features that I like the most include: deep integration with microsoft 365 platform, like you can co-author with word, excel and powerpoint. document management henceforth with the automated version history (which is a life saver really particularly when you are working with sales teams), co authoring make it far beyond any typical drive for collaborating on files. Another feature I really like is I can run forms and record responses within sharepoint, which at times has been really handy: running surveys and what not: the integrated dashboards/newsfeeds are amazing as well: no coding required.

Dislike

Sometimes the interface feels a bit cluttered, and finding specific settings or features can take longer than expected. There are also occasional sync issues when uploading documents from multiple locations, which can be annoying. Lastly, setting up permissions for new folders and projects isn't always as intuitive as I'd like, but it gets easier once you're used to it.

Dislike

It can be overwhelming for new users. I have had to help co-workers who have never used SharePoint before because they find it confusing and hard to navigate. It can sometimes be a bit clunky when teaching a new hire.

Dislike

In my personal experience, I think at times it is really hard to grant access to someone external to the organisation. And I am saying in miniscule of the cases (like 1 out of a 100), there is no troubleshooting option for this. My manager at times complaints that finding files which I have stored in some nested folders is really troublesome. Search at times can be a miss or hit, at times search results really irrelevant results and at times no results at all. Heavy files lag a lot at times, like firsly syncing through onedrive at times is really slow. Who can see feature can also see some improvements.

SharePoint Offers Strong Collaboration But Can Improve With Speed at times & Access Management

    4.0
    May 11, 2026
I manage a newly created sharepoint drive for my team, which is shared with the wider team. It is one of the go to tools we use here in our organisation for daily collaboration. It has really good and seamless integration with other office apps, like powerpoint, word and excel. It can though feel heavy and slow at times, and mentions and giving access take some tuning to manage. Once set up properly though, it is a reliable workhorse.

This works really well and integrates within our MS Platforms really well. Limitations are apparent when you go outside of the MS environment, such as Google.

SharePoint Enhances Collaboration But Presents Challenges With Search And Usability

    5.0
    Apr 7, 2026
SharePoint, specifically within my organization, has been used as a centralized platform for document collaboration and content management. It has really leveled up my project and document management and has strengthened my collaboration with others within my organization. Overall it is a very strong platform that integrates effectively with Microsoft 365.
