SharePoint Likes & Dislikes
The ability to share documents with a single link keeps everyone on the same page and cuts out the old hassle of email attachments. Having version history built in also brings peace of mind, since rolling back to a previous edit or fix is quick and simple.
Read Full ReviewI like the versatility of what it can be used for. I like that it can be used for storage of files, projects, and collabs. I like that you can set defined permissions or leave it open to everyone. You can change the look per library and it also accepts uploads of all file types.
Read Full ReviewSometimes the interface feels a bit cluttered, and finding specific settings or features can take longer than expected. There are also occasional sync issues when uploading documents from multiple locations, which can be annoying. Lastly, setting up permissions for new folders and projects isn't always as intuitive as I'd like, but it gets easier once you're used to it.
Read Full ReviewI dislike the user interface, it doesn't feel like it has been updated in a long time
Read Full ReviewThe one thing we struggled with the most was site permissions. After a year we noticed that the overall site permissions were bleeding through to the individual library permissions that we thought were setup. We were able to fine tune this, but it took a lot of work.

SharePoint Streamlines team collaboration with Easy Sharing and Robust Version Control
SharePoint has honestly made working with the team feel way easier. Now that everything lives in one spot, I don't have to dig through emails to find right document or wonder if I've got the latest version. Sending out files is as simple as dropping someone a link and the built in version history has saved us more than a few times when someone accidentally overwrites something. It's just a smoother and more hassle-free way to handle project docs and reports. Setting up the right permissions is straight forward too. I like that I can make certain folders editable just for the QA team while sharing reports as read only for everyone else. And having all our company guidelines and policies there means I never have to chase down HR for details. Overall, SharePoint just helps us stay organized and keeps things moving, so we can actually focus on the real work instead of tracking down files. - Finance Associate1B-10B USDReal EstateReview Source
Initial Hesitation Overcome as SharePoint Enhances Collaboration Despite Permission Issues
I learned about SharePoint about 2 years ago. Our company wanted us to stop using local drives and move all files to SharePoint. I was hesitant at first because who really wants to move thousands of files? However, I have truly grown to love SharePoint. We use it for everything. I use it for personal files. We have individual SharePoint libraries setup across the company to better organize ourselves but also to allow or limit access to different people all over the county. It really is quite an amazing tool - MANAGER OF IT SERVICES<50M USDReal EstateReview Source
Integration Within MS Platforms Effective, Limitations Evident Outside Microsoft Ecosystem
This works really well and integrates within our MS Platforms really well. Limitations are apparent when you go outside of the MS environment, such as Google. - SENIOR MANAGER, HUMAN RESOURCES50M-1B USDMiscellaneousReview Source

SharePoint Enhances File Collaboration, But Trash Bin Functionality Remains Challenging
MS Sharepoint presented huge improvements in past few years, today is the key tool in big organization helping teams to organize all kind of files and to share them across the company. It allows you to collaborate more, sharing files in a fast and simple way. Today Sharepoint is part of my daily routine, I can organize my personal files, project files and even edit them in the online version. This is integrated with all other microsoft tools. One key feature would be to get help from AI to organize the files in different folders, get suggestion on how to split them into more organized folders and AI to identify the duplicity of content, avoiding usage of capacity.
