This product has saved the time of our working environment in more than one way. The ability to be able o customize your own page to your company needs is part of the objectives that microsoft has been trying to develope into its ccore functions. You can decide what type o f page you want to build andd for what purpose. In our workplace we need a huge file repository thats easily abailable and ready in any time. The fact that its so customizable lets us link between almost 1t5 compiuter on diferent building level seemlesly. I do believe that miccrosoft is trying to encompass all of its diferent tools to be able to wrok together, easilly and as i told seemlessly. It a llows to develope your own database, sahre it with your teemmates or work space and cooperate in ways that will let your team use time wiselly and organize themselves.

Our overall experience has been very positive. We have been using Elastic search engine for our application use cases, mainly for log analytics and content discovery. It does a great job with indexing and gives us fast search results even when the data grows. The data connectors make it easier to pull in information from different sources, and content processing feature help in preparing and structuring data for search. The main challenge we faced was the initial setup and configuration. Getting indexing right and handling application integration took some time and effort , and there was a bit of learning curve. Once everything was in place, though, it has been stable and reliable for day-to-day use. Overall, it's a strong and flexible search engine, just not something you can fully set up without some technical work upfront.

We used Azure AI Seach as a part of a RAG pipeline for an internal knowledge assistant, and overall it worked pretty well once everything was configured properly. The integration with the azure ecosystem is probably the biggest advantage. Since most of our infra was already on Azure, onboarding was easier compared to introducing another standalone vector database or search platform. That said, I wouldn't call the setup "simple". The first couple of weeks involved a lot of tuning, indexing experiments, schema changes, and figuring out why retrieval quality suddenly dropped after what looked like harmless updates. Once stabilized though, it became reliable enough for production use.

Glean is an excellent product that is widely used across our org. It provides a secure AI environment, helping employees avoid accidentally sharing corporate data with public AI tools with its options for most popular models Its search engine capabilities are really good making it super simple to ask questions and be able to get responses from multiple sources which would otherwise take quite some time if done manually. I have found that quite often it has helped me find which team to reach out to for a certain process or project or find corporate policies regarding what’s allowed or disallowed really easily which would otherwise require me to ask around and wait, which is a real time saver in a remote-first company I have not been a part of all Application integrations but it has not been too complicated and support has been really helpful with setting up new connectors and indexing has worked well for us. However, we have noticed that when data connectors occasionally break or have issues the fixes do take quite some time to fix with the worst examples being 3-6 months. The support team is very timely with their responses but the engineering team takes quite some time to fix

My overall experience with Microsoft Search has been practical rather than flashy. I oversee quality and operations across multiple manufacturing sites that produce complex synthetic fiber and paper products, so I am constantly moving between raw material records, process conditions, operator notes, quality documents, lab and chemical test results, deviation history, and communication between teams. In that kind of environment, the real challenge is rarely whether data exists — it is whether the right information can be found fast enough to support a production decision, a quality investigation, or a traceability review. What Microsoft Search has helped with is reducing the amount of time spent hunting through different systems to piece together a full picture. Instead of remembering exactly where something was saved or who sent it, I can often pull together the supporting documents, conversations, and records much faster than I could before. For me, that is where the value is. It does not replace disciplined quality systems or good document management, but it does make the day-to-day work of finding operational and quality information much more manageable, especially when multiple sites and multiple teams are involved.
