What Your Peers Are Saying About Microsoft 365

Director of Architecture
I am looking for some suggestions on Project Management Solutions. This solution should provide things like: - Support both Waterfall and Agile methodologies - Automation workflows - Task Breakdowns - Integrates with Microsoft 365 technology stack.   We are a $10B Financial Institution currently using SmartSheet looking to evaluate a newer and more scalable solution.
Director of Operations
Azure DevOps has decent connectivity with Microsoft365.  While it's not designed for waterfall, there's nothing that prevents you from using it that way.  There's a plethora of plugins and customizations that may help you do what you want.  I agree with Pranay below, there may not be one single provider that can check all the boxes.

What is the roadmap and future development plans of Copilot for Microsoft 365 and the alternative AI tools?
Information Security Analyst
We have been quite aware over three years regarding the benefit of AI tools and services.  The city started doing Chatbot POC's in 2022 and since then deployed 2 Chatbots (our external Denver website) and (internal city TS Support). Both of those solutions are SaaS. We are allowing Github for CoPilot for our city TS developers/contractors.  CoPilot for Microsoft Office 365 is under review considering the investment for licenses.   We also did a citywide inventory of systems that already have or will soon have AI features.  We also utilize the AWS Platform.

Effortless collaboration and backup streamline busy workdays in Microsoft 365

    5.0
    Jul 10, 2026
My overall experience with Microsoft 365 has been highly positive, mainly because it simplifies how a team handles daily work and stays connected. Having word processing, emails, chats and files all tied together means you do not have to constantly jump between different applications or manage multiple passwords. It provides a smooth, reliable workflow where everything just speaks to each other natively, which saves a massive amount of time and cuts down on tech frustrations. The standout feature in daily use is how seamlessly the cloud saving and version history work behind the scenes. Knowing that every single edit is automatically backed up gives you peace of mind, especially during heavy collaborative projects where multiple people are editing a file at the same time. If someone makes a mistake or a file gets messed up, slipping back to a previous draft takes just a few clicks. The search tool is equally impressive because it understands context, letting you find a document just by remembering a random phrase inside it rather than tracking down the exact title. The platform includes a built-in storage feature that serves as the backbone for everything you do. The main advantage here is that it keeps all your files securely backed up in the cloud, meaning you can pull up an important document from your phone or from your laptop at home without needing to email files to yourself. It automatically syncs everything across your devices, which prevents data loss and makes working on the go completely stress free. To keep all your data organized, the platform uses a powerful metadata system that changes how you track files. The big advantage of this feature is that it lets you tag and categorize documents with specific labels like project names, department or custom status updates instead of just burying them in endless messy nested folders. It makes managing a huge digital library incredibly simple because you can sort and filter through thousands of files in a couple of seconds.

What I like most about Microsoft 365 is how seamlessly everything works together under one roof. Instead of having to jump between completely different apps, I can write a report in Word, track numbers in Excel and instantly share those files through outlook or discuss them dynamically inside Teams. Because tools like PowerPoint and OneDrive are baked right into the same ecosystem, I can handle the entire process from brainstorming to final presentation without ever leaving the system. When it comes to the strengths that stand out to me, the easy document collaboration is a total game changer for any group project. It allows my team members and I to jump into the exact same file at the same time, see updates live, and leave comments directly on the page. This entirely eliminates the old, messy headache of emailing back and forth five different versions of the same file and wondering which one is the final draft. Another major strength that I rely on heavily is the automatic backup and version history feature, which serves as an incredible safety net. Because the system constantly saves my progress in the background, I never have to panic about losing hours of hard work if my computer crashes or the internet drops out. If someone accidentally deletes an important section, I can simply pull up the history timeline and flip the document back to how it looked previously in just a couple of clicks.

Dislike

The fact that the online versions don't have the same functionality as the apps, the lack of greater dissemination of new features/updates, and the overall impression are somewhat confusing.
