What I like most is that the solution is fully hosted in AWS and can be consumed as a SaaS product. This significantly reduces infrastructure and maintenance effort on our side. We plan to use the platform for our finance processes, inventory and supply management, and especially the CPQ module to build a configurator for our houses. The flexibility of the system and the cloud-native approach were key factors for us. Also the time needed to solve support cases is so much lower if you use a SaaS Product compared to normal on-prem.
The fact that I can integrate it with my huge database and retrieve the needed information is worth it - the ability for the software to manage huge volume of data and generate required information.

Some parts of the platform can feel complex at first and require time to fully understand. As with many enterprise systems, configuration and customization may require experienced implementation partners to achieve the best results. But we are heavely dependend on our consultants as the plattform is very complex.
It is quite difficult to understand the designing (custom grids) at the beginning. If you are not a technical person, you might end up hiring one because it will require some scripting.
Infor require several servers. You can consolidate servers but still you will have at least 4 servers. Reporting module could be improved.

EAM is a great solution for maintenance needs plus it can solve more problems out of scope
support had been great. when uogrades cause problems vecause they changed things, it is our own problem to get it fixed as it is the way the program was designed. very frustratung. need more understanding
