FAVORABLE

“InfoScale is a good solution for replication and metro availability of your applications.”

We use InfoScale to run other Veritas products in our company in the cluster architecture. We use the cluster architecture in both our backup product and archiving product. It has full integration with these products. It provides instant replication. In our tests, our backup server, which we have shut down considering a disaster situation, became active on the DR side instantly. In this sense, InfoScale is a really successful solution.

We deployed it for the Solaris platform hosting our SAP EhP5 ECC system. It requires very good network connectivity, without which it can be finicky.

Infoscale is very good Clustering and High Availbility solution to keep critical servers running. We can protect our application servers against the Host or Storage failures. With continuous replication running in the background, we can ensure that our application servers can be able to run on the different host or storage without downtime. This can be done manually or automatically depends on our choise. We are very pleased to use this solution which works very stable.

Installation and configuration part is not easy to complete for the Veritas InfoScale Clustering solution. You have to plan very good before implementation. But you may sure InfoScale which is the very good clustering solution will work very stable. Business critical applications can be able to switch between cluster nodes automatically . So you dont need to worry about application downtime. Management interface is a little bit complex and there is a lot options to manage system. You may need to spend some time to have experience on this application.

We have currently deployed Veritas Infoscale product to protect our business critical applications such as SQL servers. Veritas InsfoScale is the one of the very good Clustering and High Availability solution to protect your business critical applications. You can replicate your data with using Volume Replicator feature to protect yourself from data loss. We are very pleased to use this product and easily switch our applications between cluster nodes. But infoscale need to be configured very well with taking professional support, if not you may spend a lot of times for the troubleshooting that is very complex
