Our experience with inriver PIM has been generally positive, particularly in terms of data governance, variant modeling, and entreprise-grade product structure management. The platform is well suited for complex product catalogs and provides strong control over data quality and enrichment workflows. However, implementation adn ongoing administration require experienced resources, and the solution can feel less intuitive for business users compared to more UI-drivern SaaS PIMs. Overall, inriver is a very robust and reliable platform when supported by the right operating model.

“Product Enrichment is Efficient but Fieldset Flexibility Remains a Limitation”
The OnPrem version worked very well for us and we had little issues with the integration. Once we moved to the cloud version of InRiver it we had a lot of issues after the integration. Mostly within our connectors and how slow things moved and how many issues we had with products being stuck and not working. inriver helped us to fix them, but some took a long time to get to the root issue and fix very simple things.

Cloud Upgrade Enhances InRiver PIM Experience
My company has been utilizing InRiver PIM since 2017. We upgraded from the OnPrem iteration to the cloud version several years back and that dramatically improved not only our user-experience but the mechanisms by which we bring our products to market as well as delivering a single-source-of-truth to our resellers. That workflow has gone from nebulous and very difficult to track corporate wide, to a process that's easy to track and more importantly, simple to deliver. Integration process completed smoothly with strong partner and support backing
InRiver's support team and network of experienced integration partners are exceptional. Our integration was on time and on budget. The platform itself has allowed our business to unlock a data management layer we previously never had.
