A solid PEO without being overly bureaucratic / restrictive.
The end user interface is simple and our employees are able to easily navigate the portal. The benefits are very organized which allows for easy enrollment. The payroll section for adding new bank accounts for direct deposit is simple.
Usability and integration with QuickBooks online
More customization of permission levels and PTO policies. In general, would like to see the ability to be more nuanced via customization.
The expense management tool is extremely limited considering we have to pay extra. Other PEOs we used in the past had better expense management platforms and did not come with any extra costs. Also as a PEO, JustWorks does not do much for the client to aid in tax liability notices that result from payroll. They pretty much leave the clients to figure it out for themselves and offer little guidance, which defeats the purpose of having a PEO vendor partner. The org chart feature is also pointless and more of a basic whiteboard. Clearly the app was designed with little innovation.

The transition was smooth since we were already on a PEO model and the shift was not too disruptive to our employees. What did not go so well are the expense management platforms. JustWorks is unable to automatically import credit card transactions.
