As the Project Owner of KNIME deployment in my current organization, I can share that since the initial exploration until the deployment across our Share Service Center organization it was very successful. Initial aim was to automate our current processes related to data preparation, data manipulation and reporting. This makes a total difference between working mostly on Excel spreadsheets and transforming the process into more analytical and automated by using KNIME. We had support on KNIME partners to provide training and capability building, until the moment we became auto-sufficient. Very well support from KNIME company itself to ease the implementation. Today we achieved more than 300 users deploying with KNIME and delivering efficiency.

KNIME is really good for its use case and has great documentation. It is a domain specific tool with some really great prepacked nodes. Its well-defined API has allowed for easy extensions with custom facilities and plugins.
