The support team is great, with lots of patience & knowledge. The products compliance is super, lots of features around security & networking.
For mid sized company like us, we are lacking of security experts, and to develop an external facing application, which is meshed from a few internal APIs, the built-in security function provided by Kong Mesh saves us a lot money and time to hire and work with a security consulting company.
Kong Service Mesh is a secure, scalable service with proper enterprise-level support and product updates.
Needs to be updated on a monthly basis due to vulnerabilities.
It does not work quite well to mesh services from both cloud and on-premise, and the support for GCP is not as good as other platforms.
Lack of support for Windows platform-based services. It is primarily a Linux-based platform.
