Vendor was very supportive prior to purchase and after purchase with install and configuration. Using this tool allows for visibility and streamlining Administrative functions (without having to revert to PowerShell).
Huge value in our envorinment was Backing up Site Permissions and duplicating someone's permissions. Saved me hours and hours of time trying to gather without using this tool.

“Terrible Experience - from Purchasing to Implementation, nothing went as expected”
The purchasing experience was awful. The sales team was aggressive but disorganized. Once the sale was made, because of poor CRM on their end, the invoice was sent to an incorrect email address (typo on their end) and what followed was an irritating experience of phone calls from different members of their team asking about payment despite us never having received the invoice in the first place. When they finally figured out how to send the invoice to the right address, they did not respect the previously stated invoice payment period on our side despite the delay being due to their issues.
Next, the installation process was horribly painful. Their tech support tooks weeks/months to finally figure out what the issue was - so for months we weren't actually able to use the product. The Account Manager escalation went nowhere. Absolutely terrible experience.

Improved training videdos and documenation (sometimes docuemnation was a little unclear, but a seasoned SharePoint Administrator should be able to figure out).
Convoluted & slow tech support. Unprofessional procurement and billing.
reports on usage is very basic. Now as SharePoint 2013 has a reduced analyics fearture set, we hoped we coudl have use Control Point to give us teh missing feartures we had in SP 2010. That was not the case. We had to buy a dedicated SP analytics product

Requires significant inevstment in time to learn to use effectivly.
Vendor was aggressive in sales stage but support was a bit slow to reslove issues. The product was quite complex and we were only given a 1 hour overview of the product as part of their quick start program. Has been over a year now and we have not yet invested the time to learn policy management feartures. Implementation straightforward, complex features and capabilities, took some time to iron
Customer service extraordinary. Willing to correct issues in their product in a large complex environment. We ran into a number of issues due to the maturity of our use of Sharepoint and the complexity of our environment.
