The product is lightweight and easy to boot up, the product integrates with our in-house data and communications almost seamlessly, and the search function is incredibly quick for what it does.
It is a fast search engine that helps us to get information quickly from complex resources. User-friendly interface with ease of access.
I like that it integrates across the Microsoft 365 platform, specifically (in my use case) Teams and Office apps. The search process is fairly customizable, allowing the user to adjust search rankings and including options like work data sources. I also like that the search process and results are AI driven so it helps to simplify what is often a complex search string/process.
One first use it can be a bit hard to get used to searching for internal information, it's a very novel product, so it takes a bit of training. Not a huge dislike.
I don't have any negative experiences with Microsoft Search. It is well suited for our organization.
It would be nice if Microsoft allowed for a broader (non-Microsoft) ecosystem to leverage the power of the tool. The user interface is customizable but not exactly user friendly or pleasing, so it would be nice to see it refined a bit more. I have yet to find a way to create shortcuts or a dashboard for frequent searches so that would also be a nice addition.
