The product is constantly coming up with new features that enhance our security posture visibility. We work with a close team on our account which allows us to get quick support if an issue were to arise. User experience is key and is the biggest benefit I have seen from using Netskope, users traditionally never realize their traffic is being proxied due to the consistency in the network backbone that Netskope provides.

The solution itself is easy to set up and comes with excellent support. It offers extensive integration capabilities with Entra ID (SCIM for example) and provides a robust API for automation. It's future proof! Another key advantage is the ability to apply Data Loss Prevention (DLP). This includes using coaching messages that not only prevent data leaks but also educate users in the process. A true win-win. The biggest advantage is that it combines two worlds into a single workspace. Users work on one unified environment instead of juggling hybrid setups where tasks are split between local systems and a (cloud-based) VDI/RDSH.
There are a couple of things I'd like to see Netskope work on as they expand and update their tools and services. Our environment requires very strict versioning to ensure a consistent onboarding experience for new hires, at the moment there is no built in way to specifically manage what minor release version is allowed in your environment, but there is support for the major golden releases. One additional thing to note is that there seems to be a bit of a delay with getting full integrations with more AI applications, we have also previously had issues with seeing network/app traffic to copilot, although they are releasing new integrations and connections constantly.
SASE software is still evolving and lacks some mainstream features. The GUI is not the most intuitive and needs to mature.
One drawback is the need to nagivate multiple portals to configure everything correctly. Additionally, setting up SD-WAN can be challenging.
