Enterprise Level Tool for Data Governance
The implementation seemed a bit slow but we are a massively large environment with many political hoops to go through, so it was to be expected. Professional Services and Consulting will find a way to do pretty much anything you need done. The ability to create customized use cases and content is only limited by your imagination and scripting skills. Upgrades come with vendor support and are really easy to implement. The product seems to continue to evolve with more features, updates and improvements over time. We use Stealth Audit for File Servers to find PII data, FIOA request and recovering data that might have been deleted or moved. This tool has cut the time down to do this type of work on over 40 servers with over 200TB data. The system a lot of configuration we weren't prepared for, but the price is right for it.
The people behind the tool are great, though they may need a few more than they have and we maybe needed someone with a bit more business experience, but great people over all. The product requires a high degree of SQL dev to make it do things that are basic in more expensive tools.
