“Improvements for Advanced Authentication”

3.0
Sep 19, 2023
- lack of customization when it comes to the enrollment sites (more options in the admin interface and not just in "custom.css") - there could be improvements of the mobile APP (e.g. Push-notification reliability, manual TOTP-Secret input without the need to scan the QR-Code, multi device support when it comes to storing the secrets of a user in different cloud systems) - flexibility when it comes to the support of custom Methods (Rest-API Services with custom verification hooks etc.) - Support of the Bund-ID (AusweisApp2 Germany) - possibility to save a prioritized Method in User Context - way to customize the name of the User Store (Domain) just for the user Frontend (e.g its "LDAP" on our site and the User does not know what that means) - multiple methods for a user (e.g 2 times TOTP or FIDO2 etc. ) - an Admin setting to turn of the possibility for a user to change their LDAP-Password - better and clearer possibility to deprovision the users - very nice to have: Easy integration in the user application (IDM) so that the users could manage their 2nd Factor in the User Application without the need to develope a REST-driver - for mobile devices: way to open standard TOTP System app with "otpauth://" urlhandler for instant add of TOTP Method (Or a button to copy the Secret) - verify TOTP field in enrollment before save

Strong MFA Tool: NetIQ Advanced Authentication and its Versatility

    5.0
    Jan 30, 2025
NetIQ Advanced Authentication is a strong MFA tool for our organization. It helped us to enhance our security across different environments. It comes with high flexibility in authentication methods so it supports "One Time Passwords", Biometric methods and works well with mobile authentication. The deployment process was smooth. Their team has done an excellent job on documentation, something that helped us during the Pilot and Implementation phase. We have also had multiple sessions with the support team and we have been amazed by their knowledge and ability to support our needs.
