1. Wider scope: This application supports testing of application from most of the platforms like Web, Desktop Application, API and so on. 2. AI based object identifier: This feature is really helpful in identifying and saving objects from a cluttered UI, reducing significant time in gathering objects. 3. Support: The lack of active developer community is fortunately handled through a really good support team. All issues reported are taken on priority and the resolvers are also ready to take even very exhausting efforts to fix them. And they're also flexible with different time-zones.
High flexibility, quality and simple to setup. Possibility to customize behavior and objects managed during the test phase. Possibility to integrate with DevOps solutions quite effortlessly.
UFT Upgrade is very Painful.
1. Heavy: The application is huge. Considering the wide range of features available along with some add-ons, the application is very resource intensive. Sometimes they even hang a perfectly running high end system. 2. Not so user friendly UI: The UI is slightly cluttered with all the features spread across here and there making it very hard to guide through the functionalities. 3. Poor developer community: The most frustrating part. In case of any error or issue during testing/test development, it's very hard to look out for the cause/fix in any popular developer communities such as stack-overflow, etc. 4. Poor Documentation: The documentation mostly boasts about the functionality rather than detailing them. Considering the already poor developer community. The documentation sometimes doesn't contain essential examples to find out the procedure and learn them.
Sometimes the process takes too much memory consumption.
