What I like most about OCI is its strong performance and reliable cloud infrastructure. The standout strengths are good compute performance, strong networking options, and useful security features. Cost control is also better compared to some other cloud platforms.
Good price:performance ratio; good integrations; reliable infra
It offers beginners preparations and labs to get to know their solution. It stands out for its great performance and overall costs compared to other vendors. It is flexible and can be integrated with other oracle services. It also has a great support team to solve any issues from the very first start. I like that you can estimate the costs very easily and you can plan your architecture.
What I dislike most is that OCI can feel confusing for new users. The main issues are console navigation, limited simple guidance in some docs, and troubleshooting can take time. Some services also need better examples for real world setup.
bad ui/ux; documentation quality can be inconsistent; otherwise nothing
It can take some time to get to know the platform and learn to use it, compared to other solutions. It can be difficult to find practical documentation or real examples to troubleshoot some issue. Networking configuration is not that intuitive.
