What I like most is the speed of processing the data. What normally takes hours to run a process for me now takes minutes.
From a technical point of view, we did not find anything to complain about. I know the price was elevated and was a critical factor at the time of the decision (I was not involved) but overall the advantages in performance justified the investment.
Oracle doesn't easily integrate with some BI tools (e.g. Spotfire)
You do have to make sure you can handle the infrastructure to support it, but otherwise, it helps me get my tasks done relatively quickly.
