We are using Oracle Access Management to control access to our apps and resources and to manage our access identities. Oracle Access Management helps us to boost the security and privacy of our data and other work resources by setting up access control measures like authentications to help us regulate who can have access to what kind of data and resources. It helps us to set up and enforce custom access policies which allows us to control what level of data access everyone has. With Oracle Access Management, we are able to ensure the safety of our access credentials by detecting any suspicious access attempts that may be caused by identity theft.

I have overall 7+ years of experience using Oracle Access Management suits. In the current implementation, we are using OAM for federation and SSO, where all the OBP related applications are secured by OAM. With my own experience, I feel OAM is one of the powerful access management tool, provides solutions to all of the access management needs. At the same time, in my opinion, OAM is considered as a legacy tool, which is hard to install and customize compare to some of the other access management solutions available in the market. I have seen transition of OAM as a product from 10 g to 11g and now in 12C, and definitely it was great, However I feel still there is a way to go in term of simplifying the processes in access management.
