Modern users expect to perform all tasks through Web UIs on multiple platforms, so the bare-bones diagramming possibilities through a custom and expensive Draw addon are very disappointing. APIs are difficult to work with for developers used to well abstracted and fully documented interfaces with examples.
Read Full ReviewWe had some challenges modeling and visualizing the data, but Orbus has since improved by adding a 'draw io' type of tool built-into the platform, and they have more features on the roadmap. They also have AI on the roadmap at this point, but it is coming soon.

Cloud migration a disappointment
We chose to stay in '22 Orbus due to our belief in its cloud journey, with the promise of more flexible integration capabilities and compatibility with other Lucid Chart (then) on the horizon. Three years on, few of our expectations have come to fruition and the use of the platform has tanked. The integration possibilities through the APIs have remained opaque, with an implicit expectation that customers engage and pay for the services of the vendor in order to make use of them.
