Read Full ReviewNow that we are in a steady state, making changes via SCM is much more convenient and allows us to be consistent with configuration changes across our firewalls. We have another project to replace more firewalls this year, and it will make it easier to deploy these firewalls.
Read Full ReviewThe intuitive interface and ease of use are standout features, making day-to-day management straightforward. Its robust monitoring tools provide deep visibility into network activity, which has been instrumental in quickly identifying and resolving issues.
Read Full ReviewI started working with Palo Alto firewalls since PA-200 model, these are the things that can be improved in PA in terms of features and services (site-to-site tunnel often getting hung, the QOS service is not accurate sometimes I feel. Also, the cost is a bit high compared to the same capacity model in other vendor firewalls and customer support can be improved in APAC region)
Read Full ReviewPA support has been challenging to utilize, having to pull in our PA account team to get better support gets old. Hopefully, they improve in this area.
Read Full ReviewWhile I don't have any specific complaints about the PA-3410, it does come with a steep learning curve. The platform offers a wide range of powerful features, but fully understanding and utilizing them requires a significant investment of time and training.

PaloAlto SCM Faces Implementation Challenges Despite Promising Centralized Management
My company selected PaloAlto to replace our other on-premise firewalls, based on their market rating in security and their ability to centralize the management of the firewalls from one single pane of glass. During our transition the PA sales team pushed for us to go to Strata Cloud Manager (SCM) vs Panorama, due to their roadmap for SCM. However, our deployment suffered many delays and roadblocks due to the SCM platform not being ready for primetime. Training for SCM was not available directly from PA or any of their training partners, which was the first issue. We found a lot of opportunities in the SCM platform as well when it came to pushing out changes to to managed firewalls, where we ran into an issue where if two different administrators push config changes to the same firewall, it creates a conflict in SCM where it loses the ability to manage the firewall, it seems like they should have something in place to prevent that from happening. The PA sales team did offer up a 2-day on-premise training session for SCM, but due to our project schedule it happened after implementation, thus the team had to really rely on PA Professional services to get the job done. The platform is working well now in run-state and the team using the training has a better pulse on managing the device more effectively. - MANAGER OF IT SERVICES<50M USDIT ServicesReview Source
User-Friendly Features Appreciated but Site-to-Site Tunnel Issues Reported
Best in enterprise & data center solutions for customizable and reliable firewall. It is also compatible for all business verticals and layer 7 application identification and centralized management. BPA assessment and all good to review the benchmark configuration with automated steps in the support portal. - DIRECTOR OF ITGov't/PS/EdEducationReview Source
