From a security ops standpoint / perspective, the granularity of access control just stands out. I love the fact that I am able to tightly scope privileged access, rotate credentials automatically and review the recorded sessions, which provides a strong balance between operational efficiency and security. We all know the struggle to make things as secure as possible and as easy to understand for our users. If you just want to pass a compliance check, do not acquire this product. If you want to run secure systems daily and feel like this is designed just for that, buy this product. And as for value for money. Compared to larger vendors, PAM360 offers lots at a great cost, which is very practical for mid-to-large organizations who do not need the enterprise pricing Reaper Drone hovering over their heads.
- Easy to deploy and maintain - This solution is very cost-effective comparing to other PAM products - It can be operated with minimal training
Deep, native integration with the ManageEngine Ecosystem and IT Infrastructure, which allows for more automation using APIs and workflows. Granular session control and recording allow for forensic assurance. In our organisation, this ensures that we can monitor for misuse and privilege creep. Strong workflow governance and least privilege enforcement enable a zero standing privilege model where access is requested, approved, and expires automatically.
Advanced use cases require more manual effort for fine-tuning than I was expecting. Setting up granular role-based access with time-bound approvals and just-in-time access can become quite heavy for smaller teams.
- The solution capabilities are limited if you need to implement advanced PAM scenarios - The REST API does not allow to automate operational tasks. For whatever reason, the API access is denied for Super Administrator (by design) - The tool does not have any monitoring mechanism to flag a privileged session as suspicious/malicious - PAM360 does not audit keystrokes executed during the privilege session (only take a video recording)
ManageEngine products have a history of frequent minor updates and occasional critical security advisories, which increases operational overhead. The web design is somewhat dated and unintuitive, which has led to slower adoption.

PAM360 - Granular Security Features Balance Auditability With Ease of Use for Teams
Overall, my experience has been solid and pragmatic. It's not a flashy "slideware" PAM product, but it does what a PAM solution is supposed to do: give you control, visibility and auditability over privileged access without turning daily operations into a bureaucratic nightmare. If I were to compare it to other enterprise-grade solutions / PAM tools, it is very approachable and usable for our teams. Deployment and onboarding are straightforward, and the UI is intuitive enough that both security and infra teams can work without having to invest weeks of training into junior / mid staff. What mattered most for our real-world use case, and in my opinion, saved us from a lot of trouble, was the credential vaulting and the session recording features, which were very easy to explain to auditors. - IT SECURITY & RISK MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATE1B-10B USDTransportationReview Source
Effective for Initial Deployment but Advanced PAM Scenarios Not Fully Supported
We use PAM360 to secure and monitor privileged accesses to our Coporate servers. I believe this solution works very well for initial PAM implementation since it is easy to deploy and maintain. However, as our PAM program evolves, we are exploring more advances alternatives to better align with our new PAM requirements. - Manager, IT Security and Risk Management50M-1B USDHealthcare and BiotechReview Source

PAM360 Delivers Cost-Effective PAM With Strong Vaulting But Limited Integrations
IT offers essential features like password vaulting, access control, audit logs and session monitoring. PAM360 solution is mainly being suggested for mid-sized and small originations and is a solid cost-effective solution for PAM. In pam360 some limitation of 3th party integration.
