The deployment cost is little high, Some features have cloud dependency and don't have all file formats for reporting.

Having to rely on support or pre-sales for any minor integration question made the onboarding more difficult than if there were more youtube videos, discussion forums, or open-source tooling available. The platform team also did not open up API or CLI access for users, so we ultimately as engineers could not use the Secrets server more than a password manager.

Nice interface and UI, but frustrating lack of community resources.
We had used Delinea Secrets server in a self-deployed model, integrating with our Entra ID for single sign on. The product itself was useful, with useful search functionality to locate secrets that someone else on our team had stored somewhere. However, our platform team locked down API or CLI access to it. As a result, none of our CI / CI pipelines ever used the product, and we ultimately only used it as a team password manager. Beyond that, we found few community resources available: "Secret Server" is such a generic term to search for. Excellent Value, Feature-rich for the price point
We use Secret Server cloud to manage all of our service account credentials. The product works exactly as we have hoped and was critical in bringing all of our service account passwords into compliance. The dependency features in particular allowed our support and development teams develop a comfort level with rotating these passwords that was crucial to finishing the project. Browser Add-On Streamlines Website Logins for Stored Credentials in Secret Server
It is a great product that we started using in our IT department to store all service account credentials, along with our personal logins in the personal section. We implemented administrator accounts that can launch PowerShell, RDP sessions, command prompt, server manager etc and it's been really useful to have the domain admin accounts behind this product and with the implemented MFA that comes with it. We had teething issues getting things setup and it took some testing but we now have a great setup. We have now started reaching out to other departments in the org and setting them up to secure more credentials around the business.
