Selecting Campus Management Solution

We selected PeopleSoft Campus Management Solution to automate complete student life cycle for our University. After two and half years of effort starting in 2012 we successfully launched PeopleSoft CMS in August 2015. To date it is operational successfully.

We invested 4 years in the this huge Academic ERP implementation in Brazil. It suppose to be a game changing implementation since it was the first full implementation in Brazil despite of single vendor solution (HW + SW) ERP Peoplesoft Campus Solution + Exadata + Exalogic + Tuxedo + Local package (tropicalization). In the beginning the vendor support was amazing but during the project rollout there was a lot of priority changes in the vendor development roadmap. The Campus Solution ecosystem was weak and there is no consultancy expertise in the market. From customer perspective our data governance and change management strategy fail as well. The project management skills from consultancy indicated by the vendor and the product management itself was really poor.
