I am a big fan of how easy it is to load your data and keep it current. Another huge pro is just being able to create all of your regular reports once and use them for any period you want to view. Its very powerful to be able to manipulate large data sets in whatever format you need. Planful is also incredible for forecasting and budgeting. It really helps keep you organized during that whole process.

Read Full ReviewAs I mentioned above, the templates that allow me to aggregate and adjust data quickly are a great tool. Dynamic reports is an intuitive tool that allows me to create reports quickly and efficiently. The ability to create attributes to provide an additional level of detail in reporting is is highly valuable.

No software solution is perfect, and its hard to be able to cover every possible system or integration. With that said, anything that Planful does not offer out of the box, they will work with you to find a solution. They are very receptive to new feature requests and are great about letting customers know when features are coming. As for the tool right now, there are definitely some quirks at times and some processes can have a few extra steps that are not always clear unless you are very familiar with the system.

Efficient Data Forecasting with Straightforward Tools, Yet Reporting Customization Lacking
I particularly enjoy the template output features in dynamic planning. It gives me the opportunity to create models for forecasting and budgeting purposes and then aggregate large amounts of data so the I can quickly iterate and adjust based on our key variables changing. I think loading data is simple and intuitive.
