For one, it's a fully online, cloud-based tool that fits seamlessly into the broader Microsoft ecosystem (which our company is fully onboard with - I would assume the benefits are not as flagrant if other backbones are used). The strong integration with Microsoft 365, Dataverse, and other services makes it easy to build real solutions quickly. The what you see is what you get development experience lowers the barrier to entry while remaining powerful, and the platform's ongoing evolution clearly reflects the company's commitment to listening to user feedback and continuously improving the product.
It is easy to get started. It enables both IT and business users to quickly build useful solutions and see value quickly. Strong examples of what's possible, together with active community and partner support make it easy to learn, solve problems and scale
The product has evolved over time, and there's always been investment in the platform itself, the breadth of which it supports our business by automating processes, creating custom solutions to our business problems whilst having the controls in place to ensure we can properly manage the estate.
Documentation does not always keep pace with the platform's rapid development. As you move into more advanced pro-developer scenarios, configuration can become more complex than the actual development work itself. This is especially noticeable for advanced setups such as setting up dedicated VNET configurations or maintaining and updating Custom Connectors when intending to have a deep integration with the Microsoft Azure setup we use across the board, making these scenarios harder than they need to be for experienced developers.
UI & usability limitations especially with in the Model Driven approach and the Forms Have also experience performance challenges when building more complex organizations
There are a few governance features you need to create bespoke solutions, a few that spring to mind: - App ownership and succession flow (if someone leaves the business, this is a manual process to assign to someone else) - Reliance on having to use API's to pull data out of the Tenant to then build custom reporting (i.e. row level reporting either by asset or environment, user insights as to who is using what applications etc) - No option for Automatic Environment clean up (unused Apps / Flows etc, this is a manual activity to clean up the estate) - Peer review being added into the ALM for promotion into production would be a great feature to have, again this is done manually (if applicable)

Building Feature-Rich Workflows Balanced by Costs and Customization Challenges
Although not a replacement for out-of-the-box tools when it comes to project management, it is much more effective than previous offerings within MS. A much better option than off-the-shelf software for those who need flexibility within specific workflows. - Psychoanalyst, Psychotherapist Membro Or50M-1B USDHealthcare and BiotechReview Source

Power Apps delivers strong value - success depends on choosing the right approach for the need
Overall, our experience with Power Apps has been very positive. It has accelerated our digitalization by putting technology in the hands of everyday users, enabling them to improve their own productivity. Our citizen development initiative has been built on this and has been highly successful. Building company-wide applications has been more challenging. The platform itself is not seen as the limiting factor; success depends on having the right understanding and competencies to use it effectively.
