Microsoft 365 Copilot is how seamlessly it combines no-code AI capabilities with enterprise-grade security and governance. It allows users in the energy sector to create powerful, task oriented workflows and retrieve critical information without any coding , all while respecting existing permissions, data boundaries and compliance requirements. This balance of usability, intelligence and security makes Copilot incredibly effective for improving productivity across Outlook, Teams, SharePoint and other core M365 applications.
It saves me a massive amount of time when needing to parse through a lot of data.
What I like the most is how well it integrates with M365 apps like Word, Outlook, Teams and Excel. It helps quickly summarize long email threads, generate drafts for reports, and organize information from meetings. For someone in a security role who deals with a lot of documentation, this can be a big productivity boost.
Microsoft 365 copilot, despite its strong no-code capabilities, it still lacks the level of autonomy expected from a full No-code Agent Builder. Copilot can assist and guide users extremely well but it cannot operate as a fully independent agent, run long running tasks or make decisions without user prompts. It's functionality is tightly bound to the Microsoft ecosystem, which limits flexibility when integrating with external systems or specialized energy sector platforms. This limitations don't diminish its overall value but they do create boundaries compared to more advanced NCAB solutions.
The errors. The technology is still early in it's use, and it'll get better over time, but the errors still happen too frequently for me to trust 100%.
Sometimes the responses still need manual review, especially for technical or security-related content. It is helpful for drafting and summarizing, but it should not replace validation when dealing with sensitive or technical information.
