Power Apps

Using the Power Apps platform has been very positive. It has helped us create simple applications that we can quickly deploy for use throughout the organization. It helps us create simple, fully functional applications already integrated with the entire Microsoft ecosystem. This allows us to develop minimum viable products in a matter of hours, which we can quickly refine and then scale to more complex systems. It works perfectly integrated across the entire Microsoft platform, facilitating access to existing data and making it easier for users to adopt.

The platform does an excellent job of putting front-end design, back-end data integration, and business logic development into the hands of power users at all skill levels. It empowers beginners to build useful apps quickly while still offering the depth and flexibility that pro-code developers need for more advanced scenarios, making it a powerful and scalable solution across teams.

Overall the product is easy to use and fits most needs. Is flexible enough to allow for many different use cases. There are different types of app to build (Canvas/Model-Driven/Custom Page) which cover different scenarios. I have now built enterprise level apps using the technology, is not just suitable for personal productivity, though deploying enterprise level PowerApps comes with some challenges that will want to be cautious about including user adoption, training, expectations on delivery, etc. I wish that ALCM (application lifecycle management) were better for lower tier (non-managed environments) but as customers we are also always looking for more for less. The community has a wealth of knowledge to help answer most questions and they are very friendly and helpful.

Overall we get great support from this product and quick response times should there be any issues or require technical support / advice.

We have had a great and successful experience working with Power Apps to build custom apps which help us to optimize the execution of our daily tasks especially the repetitive ones by automating them. Power Apps provides us with a very easy to use no-code app development platform which makes it possible for us to craft and build our own custom work management apps with no coding skills needed. Despite it being a no-code app development tool, Power Apps has helped us to create very highly performing apps that has enabled us to improve the quality of our work, get our work completed faster and reduce our manual workload, allowing us to focus more on the more critical operations.
