My team likes the intuitive design of the UX, as well as the dashboards and reporting tools. BPM features are outstanding, allowing us to manage complex workflows and increase operational efficiency! Other important aspects worth mentioning: low-code development speed that accelerates our digital projects; seamless connectivity to our environment (CRM and databases); and scalability at enterprise level.

What I like most is how quickly we can design build and change enterprise workflows using low code. Whilst still handling fairly complex end to end processes. The platform's strong automation and integration capabilities let us bring multiple systems and teams into a single orchestrated workflow.
1. We don't like the customization limitations: for example, certain UI and reporting elements could benefit from more flexibility for specific business needs 2. The platform is powerful, but licensing can feel expensive for smaller-scale deployments; 3. Very complex dashboards can lead to slight performance slowdowns
performance can be slow at times, the user interface is not always intuitive, and customization options can be limited without coding.
More advanced use cases can become quite complex and hard to express in its expression language. So you quickly hit a steeper learning curve than the low no code label syggests. In addition, licensing can become expensive at scale and some UI elements and customisation options feel limiting compared to more modern or fully bespoke front-end frameworks.

Self-Service Options Preferred Over Consultant Reliance For Application Scalability
Most of the platform related areas have worked well, the only issue has been performance especially when running multiple applications and from our point of view the only way forward was hiring a few Appian consultants. I would like to see more of a self-service approach instead of selling consultants.
