My experience whit Telerik is a passion and hate relationship, has a enormous power and flexibility but whit this make a little confuse use some components or make a custom approach.
Reporting has some issue with performance, but for simple things is awesome.
Kendo is fair enough for simple things. but has a little problems with performance too.

the facility to create reports and using kendo grids.
Excellent product. Great support. We have been using legacy application and the components are well-designed with great functionalities.
Some things are not implemented on the Angular side as of yet.
the poor performance in reports with a lot of data. the poor performance in kendo grids with some datas.
Not many examples or materials for customization of UI components.

Speed up your UI development
We use Telerik to develop our applications and the front-end library really help us speed up the process. The libraries are easy to use and they are available in different dotnet versions (dotnet core, asp.net) and frameworks (React, Angular, JQuery). This allow us to focus on the back end and business side of the application. Documentation is available and there is plenty of help in stackoverflow and other forums -it depends on the version you are using though. Overall, a very comprehensive set of UI components.
