At first the old interface was blah, but its simplicity grows on you. I believe they are phasing that out for their new dashboard which looks fancy but still holds its simplicity. The email search function is great with so many different variables to choose from. Also, being able to find an email and send it to TRAP for recall is so helpful. I can't tell you how many times we've had to recall an email. Their support is phenomenal, it really is. I've worked with them for hours on setup and post configuration, setting up rules etc. They are great and always get it resolved. I know it sounds like I'm paid to say it but I really am not. This is one support team that should really get some recognition.
I am learning while configuring but it is exciting
The single-click actions found in the daily email are an absolute time saver - rather than check multiple messages to see if they are spam, or delete them assuming they are, I can now see at a glance the messages that meet that potential, and take very quick action if needed. Once approving a message to be delivered, it arrives within a matter of moments which is a perfect user experience.
It's really hard to say what I dislike because I really like this product. If I mention anything it would be nitpicking so here goes. In the new portal, for email searches depending on which search type you select it doesn't seem to produce results. For example, you select hrd.subject and put something in this field, nothing pops up. Very annoying, especially when a subject is all you have to work with. Sometimes creating new email rules is cumbersome but when in doubt I always create a support ticket and they hop in ready to assist.
slow loading, online documentation is not updated/accurate -learning curve and not OOB ready
There's almost nothing to criticize from an end-user perspective, though perhaps having a way to adjust the time and frequency of daily reminders (perhaps one in the morning and one in the afternoon) would be appreciated, though not essential.

The overall experience has been very positive and Proofpoint saves our bacon daily. With the new interface I can see Proofpoint is making great strides towards a more unified experience and it's making management much easier.
