Overall, my experience with Prophix has been very positive. Cloud-based workflows streamline task assignments but dashboard design remains constrained
It is a great budgeting tool that allows our organization to budget as granularly as we need to. Since it's a cloud application, it allows all of the computing power to happen on cloud servers. We initially got this tool just to handle the annual financial planning but have since used it as our primary financial reporting tool for building our monthly board decks. My biggest complaint is the lackluster budgeting. Another complaint is that they are rolling out a new version of the old tool that requires a new purchase and all new features only roll into the new version. Enhanced Budgeting and Reporting with many features but high cost
Prophix has dramatically improved our budgeting process by getting us away from the overly complicated and difficult to maintain Excel models. It has allowed for more in depth budgeting and forecasting and made it much easier for our end users to enter their data. It also improved our monthly financial reporting with financial statements that are much easier to read than those that come out of our ERP.
