Proprietary information of Questionmark Secure includes status of candidates during the exam, as well as incidents and difficulties, which were considered as major advantages in my case. The record of the sessions also serves usefully as a record for scrutiny at any time that it may be necessary.
Our courses worked better with Questionmark Secure since we could add proctoring without disruptions. Our assessments generated detailed reports of student activities which showed us how they behaved during tests to detect cheating.
We used QuestiomMark Secure for years. We used the on-premise version for 10 years and then moved to the hosted version. Questionmark Secure is an amazing product for testing and for surveys. The reporting, data gathering, and analytics are superior. We use the lock-down browser so that once the person launches the browser, it locks them into the test so that there is no way for the student get out and internet search for answers. We also have a 360 degree camera that watches the student so that they cannot cheat and no one can help them cheat.
In the course of a few proctored sessions, I noticed some inconveniences where the proctor lost control of accessing the candidate's screen. This experience made me develop doubts about the solidity of such a platform as well.
During booking slot attempts the system behaved unreliably and caused both scheduling problems and technical failures. The instant observation tools sometimes experienced delays which impaired viewing of student testing conditions.
The implementation was a little quirky. During one of the upgrades, we had so many issues that we had to move to the Qusetionmark hosted solution.
