The prefetch AI algorithm works really well. It caches the files to be requested by user processes preemptively. Support guys are really nice to deal with. Maybe not the quickest response but they fix all the issues we raised with them. Even though some of those were us not using some features right.

Updates are painless and reliable, every feature just works, support is incredible and actually care.

A no-drama file and object storage system. Easily scalable and remarkably simple to operate. Support is the best I've ever experienced in my 30 years of doing IT work, including all the years I've spent doing enterprise support.

Ui is not always intuitive. Help docs also need a bit more refinement. Pricing policy is a bit steep.

No de-dupe, inline compression, access zones, needs further security integration

SMB state isn't maintained during upgrades. This isn't a major issue since the SMB protocol is designed to handle these interruptions. Upgrades can't be rolled back. The Qumulo team has good reasons for this and it hasn't been a problem for us but it would be nice.

Qumulo provides excellent service and support to us on a consistent basis. We work with several vendors and many technologies, so it's nice to have a vendor that's accessible when you need them. Qumulo is the only vendor we have on the floor that uses the Slack product for problem determination. This makes troubleshooting so much better. We also have a dedicated account and resource team for support. The product is highly reliable and easy to administer. The product is scalable to exabytes of storage capacity without any system disruption or data migration. Once configured, the system runs without a high degree of handholding. We have had many different NAS solutions over the years. Qumulo is the best solution we've ever had.

we looked at a few other choices besides Qumulo that were much more expensive. I’m really happy we’re working with Qumulo because the NFS share is easy and really user friendly. Reliable and user friendly! In terms of technology and software revolution, with the new version it made a big difference! Monitoring features are really cool and with every single they will surprise you with new features!
