The main Capabilities we appreciate in SAP Ariba Supplier Risk are: 1) Supplier Risk Identification & Assessment (supporting different risk dimensions: financial, operational, compliance); 2) Continuous Risk Monitoring; 3) Risk Scoring & Segmentation; 4) Issue & Incident Management and, 5) Integration with the SAP Ariba Network.
1. It is easy to check supplier risks before onboarding or working with them. 2. Helpful alerts that save time and provide timely updates. 3. build more confidence in supplier decisions.
It's usability and easy interface that is very convenient to work with suppliers for the works we do on our daily and regular business activity.
There are some limitations to consider about SAP Ariba Supplier Risk, but they are definitely not a deal breaker. It is just important to set expectations and plan the implementation properly. Cost and Licensing Complexity: Supplier Risk is not a standalone, low-cost module; often requires SAP Ariba Supplier Lifecycle & Performance (SLP). To mitigate it, we made a strategy to focus on monitoring strategic and critical suppliers first.
1. Dashboards and reports are only partially customizable. 2. It takes a lot of data updates, which can take a little bit of time. 3. Can be expensive compared to value if the supplier's base is not large.
The thing which I dislike about this tool is that sometimes it throws an error while logging in and we have to wait for some time which may cost some delay in our work.
