My favorite thing about Sapiens Decision is its flexibility in offering rule-based solutions. Problems can often be solved in multiple ways and we're able to choose based on the situation.
Leadership in the decision rules technology space from a marketplace standpoint and a standards body standpoint (see its engagement with OMG for the DMN standard for decision modeling). A solid, well-vetted, innovative, and frequently briefed technology roadmap. Strong customer support for more complex uses of the stack. Easily deployable as SOAP- or REST-style services.
I think the system functionality that has been built within Sapiens is detailed and designed to truly enhance the customer experience. Sapiens asks for customer feedback regularly and that feedback is what drives the enhancements they develop. To me, it shows how much they care about the product and their customers.
There are occasional errors that occur which require us to refresh the app. There are occasional times where tasks can get stuck and stay in limbo. While we can work around this, we do have a few irrelevant tasks that clutter the UI on a couple of screens. Product version updates (admin) can be difficult at times. There are add-ons that require the application to run in our environment which I don't always remember to request.
Integrate.AI component uses a flat inbound payload in its current form, which is usable for only simple calls to knowledge models (e.g., AI models exposed as services), reducing its current utility while still holding forth the ability to support more complex and Agentic AI-like uses in the future. PAM component's integration as a CSV file that updates a SQL table is clugy, but is improving.
Understanding how the software is structured (regarding menu items, where to find what items, etc) can be challenging when you are new and does take some time to learn.

The Sapiens Decision product works almost exactly as intended. I find the product intuitive and easy to use. I can use it to solve problems large and small. Our use of the product improves our accuracy and speed. The product has a built-in testing unit. This allows us to generate individual and bulk test cases within the application and to import test cases from our other systems. The test overlay allows us to see details about which rules were hit and why. This allows us to have more insight than our other applications give. Business rules can be deployed to different environments seamlessly. The results generated by Sapiens Decision can be used to troubleshoot issues in either the rules we build or in the data we send to it. The application offers a wide variety of permissions to allow us to administer the tool and keep separation of duties. Tasks worked on in Sapiens Decision keep an audit trail and retain old versions so that we can review prior changes.
