Simplicity of use benefiting both the efficiency for seasoned professionals, and the newcomers to compliance management supporting compliance processes with evidence gathering and preparation. Well structured and useful modules supporting compliance activities and auditing process, like vendor management, risk management, trust center (or Trust Vault as known in the solution), policy center. Efficiency in managing audit process from internal audits to the final assessments, with ease of access for auditors and accessible environment for evidence reviews. Scrut Teammaters, relatively recent AI agent addition enabling user to command a larger part of the interface and pull required information from prompts, speeding up the regular and audit processes. Tech and customer supports are simply amazing - every issue that occured was handled promptly, professionally, every input or suggestion or even feature request provided was met with courtesy and swiftness, and Scrut proved genuinely accommodating in, essentially, letting their customers (in this case us) contribute to the overall product improvement and expansion.
Compliance automation, streamlined audits, automated evidence collection, responsibility distribution
1. The platform itself is straightforward to use. What made the difference for us was the support offered by the scrut team and ensuring we could get compliant in the least time limit available. 2. It was an exceptionally smooth experience with the team. They have been very patient with all the request that we had and always read to hop on a call to help us with any ad hoc requirements 3. Scrut has been a single source of truth for all compliance and artifact.
There are genuinely few aspects that can be disliked, some omissions are present, like the somewhat slower pace of adopting new integrations or having some integrations occasionally glitching, one or two options could be slightly more intuitive or made more obvious in the UI, and some automated aspects could occasionally benefit from the ability of manual intervention. Additional branding and customization options wouldn't be bad either, especially with Trust Vault that could use some sprucing up with more prominent brand colors and logos.
All other features outside compliance are low quality and offer the bear minimum to pass an audit, but do not improve security
1. Scrut is a younger layer in the field than most and there are certain instabilities in the software. 2. Some implementation is required according to the latest applications category. 3. I think the platform could benefit from more attention to detail.
