The custom test builder and extensive assessment database allow us to provide our employees with testing relevant to any position. The simulation tests allow us to provide real-world problems for our employees to solve. SkillCheck's Support team has been helpful every step along the way.
There is a mix of behavioral, technical, and video assessments. It also integrates with our ATS seamlessly.
The user interface was simple and intuitive but contained a lot of solid data. There was plenty of analysis and insights into the data that was placed into the system. We did get a noticeable increase in candidates for review thanks to the system and a slight increase of new hires since we started using the system.
Creating a reusable link requires us to contact Support which can take a few days of turn around time. Creating a custom test with different types of questions can sometimes count as multiple use credits when deployed.
While the platform offers strong customization capabilities, more complex custom builds can require additional time and collaboration with the vendor's support team, whom are responsive and helpful throughout the process. Mobile functionality is generally effective, though certain advanced assessments (such as Excel simulations) are best completed on a desktop only. Additionally, exporting detailed assessment content (e.g. into a PDF for review with clients or hiring managers) is not as streamlined as it could be, but overall does not detract significantly from the platform's core functionality.
I feel like AI was pushed too hard on this system much like everything nowadays. A lot of claims needed to be verified and we weren't completely sure how the system identified and bucketed candidates. The value pitched by the system wasn't completely met as promised, it's useful but doesn't provide major usefulness to our organization.
