Sisense has allowed us to create robust dashboards and widgets that help us gain insight into our data. We previously used an in-house solution which took time away from product development. Using Sisense has allowed us to meet client specific needs as well as provide a company wide standardization for analytics. They have helped us scale and be nimble in our journey.

Sisense is very limited in customizability of data visualizations without the knowledge of JavaScript. This has been very frustrating. The folder structure and sharing of dashboards and reports across teams has been a barrier as well.

Sisense Fusion Analytics Likes & Dislikes

The ease of creating dashboards and widgets at a very fast pace. Whether an ad-hoc widget for a quick request or dragging and dropping onto another dashboard helps us keep up with customer demand.

Sisense does really well with building simple dashboards and has worked well with Snowflake connections. Sisense documentation is fairly decent as well.

Great support. Can be installed on premise

The query builder could be more helpful such as: 1) The ability to run multiple queries at once. 2) Some of the query functions are not available in the dashboard/widget functions. 3) Widget level case statements all currently require an aggregate, it would be nice to be able to use a string.

The amount of JavaScript to do what would be relatively simple tasks has been a big barrier. The push for embedded analytics is also just something our company is not looking for.

Elasticube can be complex to define and optimize. Deep training is mandatory

SiSense has proven to be the tool we need in the company for the development of BI apps

Within the company we have many dashboard applications that were developed in SiSense. They are all working perfectly. The only complaint I could mention is the constant need of maintenance windows. They are, however, much less than with the previous BI solutions we had in the past.
