My team has had significant challenges with supporting this product. It is storage device sensitive and Symantec has traditionally played "catch up" with compatibility, especially with laptop SSD drives and whole disk encryption. The outcome has been a fairly unstable product that leads to outages and data destruction. Symantec has frequent updates to their SEE product but can never seem to "get it right."

Graphic interface needs to be update and if possible web console requires for administration.
Instability. Lack of effective vendor support.
The product pricing is a bit on a steeper side.

Great in theory, difficult to use for end users
Encryption works great. Software doesn't always work great. Big issue just like all encryption software is if boot sector errors, recovery software from vendor must be used to decrypt hdd.
