I appreciate the high-quality AI avatars, the ease of updating scripts and re-exporting videos, and the simple interface that allows non-technical team members to create professional content quickly.
There are very few cons in using Synthesia. Moving graphics on slides can be tricky sometimes. They need to evolve more templates with people talking to each other, so that you can have dialog, but this it seems is coming. There is a big pricing jump to the top of the range enterprise package but you also get a lot more for your money
The templates and AI features do not generate a good starting place for the content. Text is too small, transitions and videos are awkward and the virtual avatar can feel too robotic and cold sometimes.
Some avatar movements can feel slightly rigid, longer videos take a bit to render and customization options like gestures could be more flexible.
