The answers above are largely owing to bancs not being primarily a DB product and hence many of the questions are below par.
TCS were excellent during Covid (coupled with severe outages) and provide a reliable response to crisis. However, there is a shortage of skilled resource and we see quality issues in our BAU support and also in our development.
TCS have an exceptionally hard working team who endeavor to support us however there is limited consultation, no opportunity to network with other bancs users and general capacity issue to get the basics done. Once milestones are achieved, the strategic support seemingly appears only for commercial discussions. More proactivity to understand us as a strong DB client and what we need in the longer term would help to provide a more positive update.

Good product, great ETL but poor business knowledge and programme management
The TCS BANCS product is a highly functional and capable Life and Pensions administration platform. The vendor's capability to perform extract transform and load services from legacy systems is excellent. Partnership is key
Implementing big systems requires good tech and a good implementation partner. More importantly the relationship needs to mature and be beneficial for both parties, particularly in this fast changing technological world that we live in. TCS has been an excellent partner to work with and is committed to making Bancs successful for our business.
