My overall experience with the platform has been very positive, especially in terms of performance and capabilities. I was closely involved in both implementing and operating Tenable in our organization. The installation was easy and quick to configure, allowing us to complete setup, testing, and training within a day. After configuration, the system was straightforward to manage, particularly for new scans. We used the online Academy for deeper training, which was valuable. Getting started was fast, thanks to excellent support from their team, enabling our first scan within the first hour and then focusing on defining IP ranges. Scaling by adding licenses for endpoints and users was painless and fast as our needs grew. The product has performed very well in detecting vulnerabilities, including software flaws, malware, and misconfigurations, providing the information needed for resolution. It integrates well with our patching products, helping automate and accelerate vulnerability management. I have no complaints about its effectiveness; notably, it identified zero trust vulnerabilities from the CISA alert list, allowing us to prevent potential exploitation that could have damaged our infrastructure. From an ROI perspective, the price was favorable, and the value has justified the cost. While initial effort is needed to gain a full picture of the vulnerability landscape and establish service level agreements for resolution, the system simplifies management over time as vulnerabilities are addressed. The product has met all expectations for its use, and I have no complaints about its value in enhancing our security posture.
