Back when it was implemented it was easy to use.
The biggest strength of Thru is reliability and security. File transfers are dependable, encryption and access controls are strong, and the audit/logging capabilities are strong. Automation and workflow capabilities are well thought out as well.
1) UI looks a bit dated, could have a sleeker design. 2) Limited customization options. Some workflows and access controls could have more flexibility. 3) Documentation could be more detailed around advanced features, such as filtering different file types within a transfer.
I feel that the product hasn't evolved to meet our business needs. Even trying to get the logo changed on the homepage was a bit of a nightmare as we had to keep going back and forth over size and isolation zones.
The learning curve was steep, especially during the initial setup and configuration. Some workflows and tasks aren't super intuitive, and the UI could be improved in places. Documentation and onboarding are decent, but could also be improved.
