The unparalleled flexibility and ease of use of the storyboard builder is its greatest strength. Unlike other SOARs that require extensive Python scripting for any non-standard task, Tines allows us to connect to literally any API with its generic HTTP request agent. This means we are never limited by a pre-built integration list. An analyst can have an idea for a workflow in the morning and have a working automation by the afternoon. This speed from idea to production is something we have never experienced with any other platform. The ability to visually build, test, and debug complex logic flows in a drag and drop interface is an absolute game changer.
I like most of things. It's reduce my workload and helped to completed my task.
Workbench is extremely useful for troubleshooting. Copy & Paste is native through the entire application. I can set up and publish a scoped MCP server in about 5 minutes with a customized AI chat page and scoped to my Okta groups. Massive amount of native credential flows and extremely easy to add custom credentials. Excellent library and submission process for customer stories. Tons of pre-built templates for tons of applications AND you can completely customize a template if needed.
It is incredibly difficult to find a fault with Tines, but if I have to pinpoint one minor area for improvement, it is with the support structure for extremely advanced use cases. The frontline support team is fantastic for 99% of queries. However, when we are truly pushing the platform to its absolute limits with a highly complex, multi-stage automation that interacts with a non-standard API, it can sometimes take a few interactions to escalate to the senior engineer with the specific, deep expertise needed to solve the problem. The support journey to the final solution is always successful, but for those very niche edge cases, it can involve a couple of extra steps.
Not much clarity in Documentation.
The only real issue I had was SCIM was problematic in configuration. I have not retried in a long time. JIT is lovely. Cost is a bit high if you do not have a plan to quickly use it and get return value.
