We see great potential in further developing and using Vision AI for the automated creation of tests based on functional test case descriptions.
Tosca allows for testing nearly anything you can think of when it comes to software. The modular setup of tests allows for reasonably fast setup of the test cases. Linking to Azure DevOps was possible to allow for consolidated test run reporting.
Ability to automate across wide range of package and custom develop software
Tosca uses a proprietary solution for version control. This solution is not comparable to the features and functions found in other common version control tools. Our test automation engineers frequently need to work in parallel and merge tests later on, but unfortunately Tosca does not offer this option.
Pricing, the product is one of the best on the market and they treat it as a near monopoly. Reaching representatives is not easy, and when you do, they are often unable to do much for you due to management. Tricentis' ecosystem is big, but often their advanced solutions are incompatible with other ecosystems out there.
There are opportunities in area of self healing, especially on interface testing, ability to generate test data automatically(AI based prediction of data), by looking up what would make a succesfull execution and looking for faster innovation as AI models come out which provide might higher capabilities.

Overall, I am satisfied with Tosca's performance, particularly the ability to automate hundreds of manual test cases efficiently. While the product itself is robust, the support response times are a notable drawback. We've experienced consistent delays in issue resolution that don't quite align with the premium nature of the tool.
