My experience with VelvetJobs has focused on their outplacement support platform. The customer service has been incredibly timely, clear, and supportive and the user interface is perhaps one of the easiest-to-use I've seen to date.

As noted, the customer service is outstanding from an employer standpoint and the user interface is very easy to navigate and use. Additionally, the clarity and transparency in pricing and offerings is valuable - especially at a time where it feels like every other thing I come across in my industry requires several gates just to get basic pricing.

The ease of the platform and the services provided.

As a service user, I love that the specialist updates your resume and cover letter. It takes the guess work out of is this professional enough and leaves you with the confidence to move forward in your job hunt. As an employer, I feel confident in knowing that former employees will be guided in how to best go about reemployment. This is especially helpful for seasoned professionals.

I do wish we had deeper details/insight into the outcomes for our folks using the outplacement services - for example, if 10 folks are enrolled, it'd be brilliant to have a pulse check from them about how they are doing, what services they've taken advantage of and the status of their job search. I don't have sufficient experience in other portions of the platform to offer advice or feedback otherwise.

1. The only negative to note here would be engagement. It seems the candidate is only approached once via multiple platforms, i.e. Phone, email, etc. I would prefer multiple attempts but not so many that the candidate feels bombarded.

No complaints.
