Verizon Managed Mobility Services Likes & Dislikes
The ability to remote wipe, device lockdown, app control and real-time compliance enforcement.
Ease of management on existing lines. Ease of jumping in to grab information related to a specific line or phone has been great.
Verizon rose to the top of our list during the evaluation process by being able to offer extensive national coverage whilst being able to customize an efficient pricing option that was a good fit for the budget available. They listened to our concerns about a provider being able to adapt to the needs of our rapid growth profile and were able to offer a tailored solution which should be able to grow with us. Obviously, reliability is a huge factor for just about every business and Verizon went to great lengths to reassure us in this respect.
Initial setup was somewhat complex and a programmer had to help which took 3 hours. There are many steps in setting the program up. If a mistake is made after the initial profile is created, a second profile needs to be setup. Any changes need a new profile created which is very time consuming.
Verizon's inability to accommodate acquisitions and growth. needing all parties in person, on a conference call to facilitate porting and not working with customers around LOAs has been extremely painful.
The one thing we would have loved was perhaps a more attentive customer service aspect when we had a plethora of adoption questions. The backup was there, no doubt, but perhaps could have been a little preemptive. Having said that, when this was pointed out, Verizon did make substantial efforts to adjust accordingly to our needs. The item other issue was a slightly longer delay in implementation than we had originally envisaged.

Verizon are still the go-to option.
As a growing company, we needed to locate a mobility services provider that understood the expansion pains we were going through. Verizon really 'stepped up to the plate' in this respect, by making suggestions & offering advice on the best way to achieve our stated objectives. They even brought to our attention considerations that were not originally on our 'essentials' list. - SOFTWARE ENGINEER<50M USDSoftwareReview Source
Simple and works
It was no sweat to get our small quantity of devices delivered and activated. And they all worked just fine. Not miraculously perfectly, but broadly in working order. - IT TEAM LEAD<50M USDIT ServicesReview Source
Verizon's Managed Mobility product is a good solution to begin with but its not there yet
Verizon's managed mobility services does what it says on the tin. Our experience is that it's mainly meh, but does a good job at providing us with dealing with mobile devices out in the field as far as theft and automating VPN connection setup for our staff. - Director of ITGov't/PS/EdEducationReview Source
Sometimes the name that you know is the best way to go.
We used a lesser known start up for our mobility services before signing a contract with Verizon. We had weekly outages associated with a poor network topology from the very beginning. When we moved over to Verizon we made diversity and reliability our main goal. Verizon helped us achieve that.
